Rev. Stephen E. Rorke
The Rev. Stephen E. Rorke is an Episcopal Priest who graduated from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and the Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was ordained Deacon in 1975 and as a Priest in 1977. He currently serves as Interim Rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Broad Creek, Maryland.
Rev. Rorke began his ministry as Executive Director of Compass House, a shelter for runaway youth in Buffalo, New York and as Priest-in-Charge of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church also located in Buffalo. He has served as Executive Director of the National Network of Runaway and Youth Services, ACTS of Prince William, Doorways of Arlington, Virginia, and the Lorton Community Action Center. Rev. Rorke has lived n the Washington, DC area since 1977 with his wife and daughter.
